The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed that the search of the house of former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil is related to allegations of corruption within PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten or Bank BJB.
The statement was made by the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Fitroh Rohcahyanto, when asked about the forced efforts made by investigators today, Monday, March 10. This search was carried out even though the chairman of the Golkar Party DPP has never been examined.
"(The beginning of the instructions to search Ridwan Kamil's house, ed) is already material and very technical. What is certain is that the search at the house in question is related to the investigation of the BJB case," Fitroh told reporters in a written statement, Monday, March 10.
Meanwhile, KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika said the search at Ridwan's house had been completed by investigators. However, there are several other locations that the team is currently visiting to look for evidence related to the case.
"For places that cannot be conveyed at this time because there are still several locations that take place," he said.
"When it is finished, we will update it later, along with the release of the case which will most likely be submitted this week," continued the spokesman with the investigator's background.

"The article suspected of Article 2 paragraph (1) or Article 3 is related to the procurement of goods or services at Bank BJB," said a VOI source who was delivered on Wednesday night, March 5.
The amount of state losses caused by these five suspects cannot be conveyed. However, the estimate reached hundreds of billions of rupiah.
The same source also said that the KPK had asked the Directorate General of Immigration to prevent the five suspects from leaving the country for six months. Two of them are internal Bank BJB while the rest are private.
This effort is being made to facilitate the investigation process. The prohibition of traveling abroad can usually be extended as needed.
