The Defendant TNI Member Was Also Demanded By The Prosecutor To Pay Restitution To The Victim Of The Rental Boos Shooting Case

The Military Court also charged the three defendants members of the Indonesian Navy (AL) as collectors in the shooting case against the car rental boss at the KM45 rest area, Tangerang-Merak Toll Road, Jayanti, Tangerang Regency, Banten, Thursday (2/1), to pay compensation to the victim.

"The defendant, one on behalf of the Head of Classi (KLK) Bambang Apri Atmojo, paid a restitution to the family of the late Ilyas Abdurrahman (rental boss) of Rp. 209.6 million, paid restitution to Ramli's brother, the injured victim was Rp. 146.4 million," said the Military Prosecutor from the Military Odiurat II-07 Jakarta Major Korps hukum (Chk) Gori Rambe at the Military Court II-08 Jakarta, Cakung, East Jakarta, Monday, March 10, reported by ANTARA.

The second defendant, Sergeant Satu Akbar Adli, was charged with paying restitution of Rp. 147 million to the family of the late Ilyas Abdurrahman and Ramli's family amounting to Rp. 73 million.

Meanwhile, the third defendant, First Sergeant Rafsin Hermawan, was required to pay restitution to Ilyas Abdurrahman's family in the amount of Rp. 147 million and Ramli's family in the amount of Rp. 73 million, subsidiary to three months in prison.

Gori emphasized that the payment of restitution charged to the defendants was in accordance with a letter from the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK).

Previously, two defendants, namely the Head of (KLK) Bambang Apri Atmojo and First Sergeant Akbar Adli, were sentenced to life imprisonment in the Jakarta Military Court II-08 trial, related to the case.

The two defendants were legally proven to have committed a criminal act of detention that resulted in shooting and taking the lives of others.

This is as regulated in Article 340 of the Criminal Code concerning premeditated murder in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code related to the shooting of Ilyas Abdurrahman's car rental boss (owner).

Meanwhile, the defendant three, namely First Sergeant Rafsin Hermawan, was charged with a basic sentence of four years in prison for his actions and additional punishment for being fired from the military service of the Indonesian Navy.

The follow-up hearing with the agenda of reading the demands in the case of shooting the car rental boss with the accused three members of the Indonesian Navy (AL) at the Jakarta Military Court II-08 on Monday began at 09.10 WIB.

The trial was chaired by Lieutenant Chief Judge Colonel Chk Arif Rachman with Lieutenant Lieutenant Colonel Chk Nanang Subeni and Lieutenant Lieutenant Judge Colonel Chk Gatot Sumarjono.
