Police Hunt For Mother And Child Murderer Whose Body Enters Toren Air

Police from the West Jakarta Metro Police are hunting for the alleged sadistic murder of a mother with the initials TSL (59) and her son with the initials ES (35) who were found dead floating in a water toren in their house on Jalan Angke Barat RT 05/02 Angke, Tambora District, West Jakarta.

According to West Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Deputy, AKP Dimitri Mahendra, the discovery of the bodies of this mother and child is strongly suspected of being a murder victim.

This was confirmed after the results of the investigation by the Puslabfor Police Headquarters indicated signs of violence on the victim's body.

"We found that at the crime scene there were two people who had become victims of murder," said AKP Dimitri Mahendra when confirmed, Monday, March 10.

Another victim's child, with the initials R, admitted that he last communicated with his mother on March 1, 2025. However, after the afternoon, his mother could no longer be contacted.

When R came home, he couldn't find his mother and brother, then reported the incident to the Tambora Police on March 3, 2025.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the West Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Arfan Zulkan Sipayung, also confirmed that there were injuries to the heads of the two victims, confirming the suspicion that they were victims of violence that led to death.

Currently, the police are still pursuing the perpetrators and examining a number of witnesses related to the incident.
