North Sumatra's Center for Disaster Management Operations Control (Pusdalops PB) recorded 1,632 people from 408 families affected by the flood that hit four sub-districts in West Nias Regency, North Sumatra (North Sumatra)

The floods in the four sub-districts hit seven villages, namely Tuwuna Village, Simaeasi, and Fadorobahili Village in Mandrehe District, Iraonogeba Village and Hilicyclea Village in West Mandrehe District, Downstream Village in Moroo District, and Iraonogaila Village, Lahomi District.
Pusdalops PB North Sumatra also noted that the flood caused 33 hectares of agricultural land to fail to harvest, one bridge unit in Tuwuna Village, Mandrehe District collapsed, 200 meters of village connecting roads were damaged, and 55 housing units were flooded.
Head of the Emergency, Equipment and Logistics Handling Division of the North Sumatra BPBD Sri Wahyuni Pancasilawati said the handling of the impact of the flood had been carried out.

He said the local BPBD had coordinated with the North Sumatra Provincial Government, the West Nias Regency Government, and the village government as well as collected data at the scene.
"The local BPBD together with relevant policy makers have conducted field surveys and provided assistance to residents," he said.
He said, based on reports received there were no casualties, injuries, and also refugees for the incident.
"Currently, flooding is still having an impact and is in the handling stage by the local government," he said.
