Kaltara Development Focused On 8 Main Missions

TANJUNG SELOR - Governor of North Kalimantan (Kaltara) Zainal A. Paliwang delivered his first speech before members of the North Kalimantan DPRD for the 7th Plenary Meeting of the Second Session Period of 2025.

Also attending the plenary session on Tuesday, March 4, Deputy Governor (Deputy Governor) of Kaltara Ingkong Ala at a meeting chaired by the Chairman of the North Kalimantan DPRD, Achmad Djufrie.

In his speech, Governor Zainal said the future five years of development would be focused on eight Main missions, namely realizing an inclusive social transformation with justice, realizing a sustainable regional economic transformation.

Then realize a collaborative and innovative governance transformation, solidify the rule of law and regional stability as the homepage for the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).

Then strengthen the resilience of social culture and ecology, strengthen regional development that is equitable and just, strengthen quality and environmentally friendly facilities and infrastructure and realize the sustainability of North Kalimantan development to guard Indonesia Emas.

The governor also expressed his appreciation to the entire community for the trust given.

He emphasized that development should not be hampered by political differences, but must be a momentum to unite for the sake of mutual progress.

"We have passed the democratic contestation peacefully and with a passion for togetherness. Now is the time for us to move forward with one goal: to build a stronger, more independent and prosperous North Kalimantan," said Governor Zainal.

The governor explained that Kaltara has a strategic position in developing border areas, international trade and national food energy.

With the vision "The Realization Of The Solid North Kalimantan Transformation Foundation As A Future Home For The Advanced, Prosperous, Sustainable Unit of the Republic of Indonesia".

The governor also revealed the importance of synergy between the central and regional governments in supporting the national vision of "Together Indonesia Advances Towards a Golden Indonesia 2045" carried by President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

"Development is not only the responsibility of the government, but requires the active role of all elements of society. Collaboration between executives, legislatures, the business world, academics, and the wider community will be the key to success," he said.

The governor invited all parties to work smarter, more innovative, and with integrity for the advancement of North Kalimantan.

"Not just talking, but acting clearly with results that have an impact on the people. Let's create a more advanced, independent and prosperous North Kalimantan," he concluded.

In the 2025-2030 leadership, it will be an era of accelerating transformation and collaboration to make North Kalimantan a more advanced, resilient, and competitive province. The governor emphasized that the synergy between the government, the business world, and society must be the main foundation in realizing inclusive and sustainable development.
