JAKARTA - The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) is following up on findings related to the misuse of the distribution and use of Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) funds by deploying a team from the Inspectorate General (Irjen).

The Ministry of Education is currently recording schools that have been proven to have violated the distribution and use of PIP funds.
"If schools are proven to have committed violations, then we will take steps, especially regarding the distribution of PIP for the coming years," said Mu'ti.
The imposition of sanctions does not rule out the possibility of termination of PIP funds for schools found to have abused the aid funds.
