Gorontalo Governors Agree Not To Want To Procurement Of New Official Cars

Gorontalo Governor Gusnar Ismail and his deputy Idah Syahidah Rusli Habibie, emphasized that there was no procurement or purchase of new official cars and still used existing cars.

"From the start, we have conveyed to the local government budget team that there is no change from used cars to new ones. So there is no new car procurement in the budget shift," said Governor Gusnar at a press conference at the governor's office, Antara, Sunday, March 2.

Gusnar explained that the agreement was taken with Deputy Governor Idah Syahidah Rusli Habibie long before the budget efficiency policy was instructed by President Prabowo Subianto.

This is a form of commitment to the efficiency of the regional government's budget at this time.

"There are cars used by the Governor, Deputy Governor, and Regional Secretary in Gorontalo and Jakarta. In both locations there is no replacement," said Gusnar.

The Deputy Governor Idah Syahidah Rusli Habibie said the same thing. According to him, the old car currently available is still very suitable for use as an operational vehicle because it is always well cared for.

"From the start it was still a campaign, we have promised that God willing, there will be no new car procurement. Thank God, after the vehicle I used was chosen, the Deputy Governor's car for procurement seven years ago, that's all still being carried out on social media, some say it's too amazing for the Deputy Governor's mother to use Alphard," said Idah.
