BANDUNG - Minister of Defense (Menhan) Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin handed over 700 units of special vehicles (ransus) Maung MV3 produced by PT Pindad to the TNI and Polri to be used as operational vehicles based on local products.
The handover was carried out at Husein Sastranegara Air Base, Bandung City, West Java, Saturday, March 1.

The 700 ransom units handed over consisted of 50 units for the TNI Headquarters, 400 units for the Army, 100 units for the Navy, 100 units for the Indonesian Air Force, and 50 units for the Police.
He said the handover of the ransom was a sign that the national defense industry had risen to support the country's ability to maintain national stability.
According to him, the government will continue to consistently provide operational support to the sovereignty guards of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), namely the TNI and Polri.
In addition, he said that the hundreds of Maung MV3s would be used continuously and used by personnel to remote areas of the archipelago.
