JAKARTA - The Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of DKI Jakarta optimizes the potential for cash waqf during Ramadan 1446 Hijri/2025 AD because it remembers its potential for the welfare of the community.

In fact, someone who has Rp. 20,000 in cash can be donated through the Indonesian Waqf Board (BWI).
Currently, the Regional Office (Kanwil) of the DKI Jakarta Ministry of Religion is collaborating with BWI DKI Jakarta and Islamic banking institutions to provide QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) to deposit waqf.
According to Adib, if the cash waqf is managed properly, it can be used for various needs of the ummah, such as educational scholarships, mosque construction, pesantren assistance and health services.
"So this cash waqf, if it really can be collected, is very powerful," said Adib.
