Completed Closes Retret Of Regional Heads, Prabowo Returns To Jakarta

President Prabowo Subianto left for Jakarta after giving a briefing and closing the retreat or briefing of regional heads and deputy regional heads in 2025 at the Military Academy in Magelang, Central Java, Friday, February 28.

President Prabowo Subianto arrived at Adi Sutjipto Airfield, Yogyakarta, at 13.45 WIB. The presidential plane carrying the Head of State took off at around 14.00 WIB to Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Field, Jakarta.

A number of members of the Red and White Cabinet who also released the President's departure to Jakarta, including Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin, and Special Advisor to the President for Politics and Security, while Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya participated in the plane accompanying the President.

Before leaving for Jakarta, President Prabowo had time to perform Friday prayers at the Magelang Retret Participants Tent, after giving directions and closing the retreat.

The first call to prayer was sounded at 11:57 WIB, marking the entry of Friday prayers. A few minutes later, the second call to prayer echoed at 12:02 WIB, inviting the congregation to close their hands immediately.

Acting as preachers and imams in Friday prayers this time was Ustadz Ahmad Syaikhu, a cleric from the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) of Magelang City. While the task as a muezzin/bilal was entrusted to Rustaman Day.

In his sermon, Ahmad Syaikhu conveyed a message about "The Ramadan is Fun and Calming", considering the Holy Month of Ramadan that is about to arrive.

President Prabowo, who was present with a number of state officials, TNI ranks, and retret participants, seemed solemn in listening to the sermons delivered.

After Friday's prayer, President Prabowo took the time to talk with several congregants who attended.

Also carrying out Friday prayers include Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sudaryono, and a number of retret participants.
