Scavengers Robbed 3 Robbers With Celurit, Rp2.5 Million In Cash And Lost Cellphones

JAKARTA - It's sad. NI (42), a scavenger of used goods, became a victim of robbery when he was about to send money to his parents who were in the village.

The incident occurred on Jalan KH Moh Mansyur, Krendang, Tambora District, West Jakarta.

"The victim was intercepted by three unknown people by riding a motorcycle," said Tambora Police Chief Kompol Kukuh Islami when confirmed, Thursday, February 27.

After being intercepted, the perpetrators then pointed a sickle at the victim while asking for all the money and belongings of the victim.

At the same time, the victim was about to deposit money to his parents who were in the village.

However, because they resisted, the perpetrators then slashed the victim twice. The victim was stabbed in the back until he was helpless.

The perpetrators then searched the victim's body and confiscated Rp 2.5 million in cash.

"The suspect took the victim's cellphone and took the cash in a bag worth Rp. 2.5 million. The money is planned to be deposited by the victim for his family in the village," he said.

For this incident, residents then reported it to the Tambora Police. Meanwhile, the victim has been treated to the hospital for the stab wound on his back.

The police then conducted an investigation by examining witnesses and the available evidence.
