Pramono Will Open 6 Parks In Jakarta For 24 Hours, This Is The Location

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta City Parks and Forest Service revealed that there are six parks that will be open 24 hours in Jakarta. This is the promise of DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung since the 2024 Pilkada campaign.

Parks that are planned to operate 24 hours include Langsat Park, Ayodya Park, Tebet Eco Park, Banteng Field Park, Menteng Park and Martha Tiahahu Literacy Park (ITJ Management).

Head of the DKI Jakarta City Parks and Forest Service Data and Information Center, Ivan Murcahyo, said that the six parks that were opened for 24 hours were an early stage. The plan is that the 24-hour opening will target other parks.

Ivan said that people who want to carry out activities or activation at the location of the park will be recorded and adjusted to the schedule and area zone, making it easier for monitoring and regulation to be carried out.

"Usually the sport in the park is only until 17.00, later we will try to open at night for futsal and badminton, of course with the approval of local residents," said Ivan in his statement, Thursday, February 27.

The DKI Provincial Government will also involve various regional elements such as the mayor, RT/RW and the local community regarding their supervision. Because, there are concerns from local residents about potential disturbances to order at night.

"Therefore, coordination with regional officials that also involve the community is still being carried out. The public is also advised to participate in maintaining order so that this policy can run well and provide benefits for the citizens of Jakarta," said Iffan.

Previously, Pramono Anung revealed that he would open a number of parks for 24 hours in Jakarta. Pramono explained that the park criteria that will operate 24 hours are green open spaces that have complete supporting infrastructure.

"There are public transportation facilities which are then easy to reach. Then in the park there is a place to express meeting places and so on. For these parks, we prioritized them at the beginning," said Pramono recently.
