A total of 20 personnel from the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. were deployed to evacuate the body of JS (69), the owner of a shophouse in Rawamangun, East Jakarta, who was killed by ZA (35), a construction worker.

According to the testimony of the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. Team (Katim) Team Control Team, Afif, his party after receiving the report immediately went to the scene.

"We first launched the stage from the Pulogadung sector, but needed more complete equipment," Afif told VOI at the scene.

After Afif and other teams received information that the victim was in cement, he also needed more adequate equipment for the demolition process.

"We use tools manually, there are Godam and Jack Hammer who use electric power. Coran is not too thick. But he is only covered with hebel. So it's not too difficult to dismantle it," he said.

The evacuation process for the demolition of cement cast from the victim's body lasted for 20 minutes.

"The condition of the body is still intact, just because it took about 1 week so it smelled unpleasant smells," he said.

Afif further said that the victim's body was buried by the perpetrator with a layer of sand.

"So the lower layer is the body (victim) then piled up with sand, then closed with hebel too. Then immediately cast it," said Afif.

When the evacuation process took place, rescue officers did not find the existence of a plastic bag as a coating for the perpetrator's body.

"There are no plastic bags, only covered in sand. Thank God everything went smoothly," he concluded.

Furthermore, after the JS victim's body was successfully evacuated by rescue officers, the body was then removed from the water channel and put into the body bag that had been prepared by the officer.

The victim's body was then evacuated into an ambulance and taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, for an autopsy.

Previously, it was reported that a building owner on Jalan Pemuda, Rawamangun, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta, was found dead in his building area on Wednesday, February 22, evening.

It was later discovered that the victim was named Jap Sugiharto. The victim is the owner of a shophouse at the local location.

East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly confirmed the murder incident.

"Yes, that's right. (the victim) wants to be buried immediately using cement," said Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly to VOI.

According to information compiled by VOI at the scene, the victim was previously involved in an argument by the perpetrator, who is a construction project worker for his shophouse.

Then the victim was beaten by the perpetrator to death. To eliminate evidence, the perpetrator then buried the victim in the shophouse building area and closed it with cement.

"The victim was cast immediately using cement. So today the cement will be dismantled first," said the Police Chief.
