Pangdam Orders TNI Members To Repair Damage To Tarakan Police Headquarters

Pangdam VI/Mulawarman ordered personnel from Kodim 0907/Trk and Infantry Battalion 613/Rja to repair the damage to the Tarakan Police Headquarters, Kaltara, as a moral responsibility after the attack.

"This indicates that the solidarity between the TNI and Polri is maintained," said Pangdam VI/Mulawarman Major General TNI Rudy Rachmat Nugraha as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, February 26.

Repairs were made by installing broken glass in several rooms at the Tarakan Police, including the Police Chief's room and the SPKT room.

In the repair process carried out, Tarakan Police personnel also helped. This indicates the solidity of the TNI and Polri.

This moral support also completes the statement of responsibility conveyed by Pangdam VI Mulawarman Maj. Gen. Rudy Rachmat Nugraha during a joint review with the North Kalimantan Police Chief Inspector General Hary Sudwijanto at the Tarakan Police Headquarters, Tuesday (25/2).

The Military Commander also invited all parties to reduce the situation. The solidarity between the TNI and Polri until now, according to Pangdam VI/Mulawarman, is still going well.

"The point is that we both cool the atmosphere and actually this incident will not damage the solidity we have built," said the Pangdam.

Meanwhile, the Commander of Kodim 0907/Tarakan, Lt. Col. Kav Jhon BC Simarmata added that it was not only a form of responsibility, but improvements were made to ensure that the solidarity between the TNI and Polri was still well maintained.

"Last night we also carried out patrols to reaffirm conduciveness in Tarakan and we together with the National Police ensure that they remain together to ensure the security and order of Kaltara, especially in Tarakan," he said.
