RIAU - The Kampar Regency Government of Riau Province evacuated 103 Rohingya refugees from a house and shop in Batu Belah Village, Kampar District.
Head of the National Alert Division of the National Unity and Political Agency of Kampar Regency, Zaid Yuli, said that Rohingya refugees were evacuated to the Pekanbaru Rudenim by the Kampar Civil Service Police Unit.
The evacuation activity was also accompanied by the Kampar Resort Police on Tuesday night.
"The evacuation and departure of foreigners is suspected to have been completed until we left the location safely at 20.05 WIB," said Zaid Yuli in Bangkinang, Antara, Wednesday, February 26.
The evacuation and departure of the Rohingya foreigners used three trucks consisting of one from the Kampar Police and 2 from the Kampar Satpol PP.
To note, the number of foreigners suspected of being Rohing refugees is 103 people. All of them consist of 72 adult men, 30 adult women and one boy.
Zaid said that at 17.47 WIB, Tuesday (25/2) his party together with Rohingya refugees arrived at the Pekanbaru Rudenim. However, the Rudenim did not receive it because the refugees had no data collection.
