Looks Happy, This Is What Puan Said To AHY When Attending The Democratic Congress

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives and Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP Puan Maharani also attended the closing of the Democratic Party's VI Congress, at The Ritz Carlton, Jakarta, Tuesday, February 25, evening. Puan seemed happy when she arrived at the location of the event which was also greeted by the excitement of the cadres.

Puan revealed the message conveyed to the Chairman of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) who sat next to him.

"Congratulations to Mas Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) who has received the mandate to lead the Democratic Party," said Puan in her statement, Wednesday, February 26.

It is known that AHY was elected by acclamation to lead the Democratic Party for the next 5 years, or for the 2025-2030 period.

Puan was present at the Democratic Congress VI accompanied by the Chairman of Bappilu PDIP and Deputy Chairperson of the MPR Bambang Wuryanto, Secretary of the PDIP faction of the DPR Dolfie Othniel Frederic Palit, and Member of the DPR F-PDIP Alex Indra Lukman.

Puan hopes that the Democratic Party will continue to be solid in order to build the country. In the event, AHY also prayed that the friendship between Democrats and PDIP would continue to be maintained.

"Hopefully the Democrats can continue to work together to build the nation and state," said the grandson of the Indonesian proclaimer.

There was a warm moment when Puan was present at the Democratic VI Congress last night. The daughter of the PDIP General Chair, Megawati Soekarnoputri, is held by the Chairman of the Democratic High Council who is also the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY).

Previously, AHY admitted that she was very happy that Puan fulfilled her invitation to attend the closing ceremony of the Democratic Party's VI Congress which was held at Ritz Carlton, Jakarta, Tuesday, February 25, evening. With the presence of Puan, AHY hopes that the Democrats and PDIP will always be friends.

AHY revealed that he invited Puan directly when the Speaker of the House of Representatives attended the launch of the Investment Management Agency (BPI) Daya Anagata Nusantara (Danantara) at the Merdeka Palace, Monday, February 24, yesterday.

"Yesterday I approached him at the launch of the Danantara at the Palace, and I am happy because he said he was pleased to attend the closing ceremony of this Congress," AHY said in his speech.

"Thank you, Ms. Puan, hopefully we can maintain this friendship onwards," he continued.
