Project Cooler In Koja Jakut Killed By A Wall While Installing A Building Foundation

JAKARTA - Suyanto (59) a construction worker from Bekasi Regency was found dead while working on a building project on Jalan Mangga, RT 06/04, Tugu Utara Village, Koja District, North Jakarta, Tuesday, February 25, afternoon.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Koja Police, AKP Alex Chandra, said that based on eyewitness testimony from the incident, the incident began when the victim was digging to make chicken peker (building sponsors).

"Based on the foreman's statement, all workers are resting and the victim, who is a builder, is digging to make chicken pastries," said AKP Chandra when confirmed, Tuesday, February 25.

The victim was suddenly hit by a building wall at the scene.

"The victim suffered serious injuries to the head. The victim died on the spot," he said.

Members of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Koja Police conducted a crime scene at the scene. The police also gathered a number of eyewitnesses to the incident.

"There were 6 witnesses who were examined, they had the initials M, T, BR, IM, T and R," he said.

The six witnesses are workers from Brebes Regency, Central Java. They are still being questioned at the Koja Police.
