House Of Representatives Commission VI Affirms Danantara Can Be Audited According To Law: If There Is A Mistake, Managers Can Be Legally Processed

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of Commission VI of the House of Representatives, Andre Rosiade, said that the Anagata Nusantara Power Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) could be audited, as explained in Law Number 1 of 2025 concerning the Third Amendment to Law Number 19 of 2003 concerning State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN).

This was conveyed by Andre in response to President Prabowo Subianto's statement which emphasized that Danantara must be audited at any time by the authorities.

"It can be audited. Later, friends can see the law that Danantara can indeed be audited. The law is discussed," said Andre, Monday, February 24.

Thus, continued Andre, the administration of Danantara, which will manage the state assets of more than 900 billion US dollars, must be managed professionally and transparently. If something goes wrong, said Andre, the Danantara manager can be legally processed.

"The law also stipulates that this Danantara, if there is a loss, then the Danantara cannot prove its management, there are errors, they can be processed legally," he said.

Andre understands the public's concerns regarding the formation of BPI Danantara. However, according to him, President Prabowo wants to prioritize transparency by inviting various parties to the launch of the Danantara.

"So the government has nothing to hide at all," said the Gerindra legislator.

In addition, continued Andre, Danantara will also be managed by professionals who have good credibility, quality, and knowledge. It is known that BPI Danantara is led by Rosan Roeslani as Group CEO, and is assisted by Pandu Sjahrir and Dony Oskaria.

"So with such good intentions Pak Prabowo and so transparent, we are optimistic that this, God willing, will succeed," he concluded.

Previously, President Prabowo Subianto said the Anagata Nusantara Resources Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) or Danantara Indonesia must be managed properly and transparently. The President also emphasized that Danantara must be audited at any time by anyone.
