JAKARTA - An online shop driver with the initials MY (20) was arrested by the police for distributing 643 grams of crystal methamphetamine in the Kalideres area, West Jakarta.
Kapolsek Kalideres Kompol Arnold Julius Simanjuntak said the arrests stemmed from public reports regarding alleged drug abuse activities in the Wadas area, Kalideres.
"MY is a dealer that we managed to secure at a boarding house in the Wadas area, Kalideres," said Commissioner Arnold when confirmed, Sunday, February 23, morning.
From the results of the search, 10 large packages and 1 small package were found with a total weight of 643 grams.
"In addition, we also found digital scales used to measure methamphetamine," he said.
Arnold added that the results of the investigation revealed that MY received methamphetamine from a person with the initials A, who is now on the wanted list (DPO).
Based on his confession, MY previously received 1.5 kg of crystal methamphetamine from A in the Mangga Besar area and worked with a salary system to distribute the illicit goods according to orders.
