12 FINNS Beach Club Bali Security Officers Become Suspects In Fight Cases With Foreigners

Badung Police, Bali, named 12 security guards as suspects in a fight with a number of foreign nationals (WNA) at the FINNS Beach Club, on Jalan Pantai Berawa, Tibubeneng Village, Kuta.

The Head of Public Relations of the Bali Police, Kombes Ariasandy, said that the determination of the suspect was carried out after investigators conducted an examination.

"As we have said some time ago from the Badung Police, we have examined four (people). Then we checked again to call on Monday (17/2) yesterday, 11 people for questioning. From the results of the examination, 12 suspects (sekuriti) were determined," said Kombes Ariasandy, Tuesday, February 18.

Regarding the viral video showing a number of foreigners fighting with security guards, the police said that there was only one separate incident.

"It's a series of videos. So it's not a series of then the TKP there is the last series of the crime scene at the beginning of the incident," he explained.

The 12 security guards are suspected of molesting foreigners.

"From the available evidence there (do the persecution). The investigators eat it, then determine the status of the person concerned as a suspect," he said.

On the other hand, Australian citizens were also named suspects by the Bali Police. Ariasandy said there were two separate reports.

"These are two different cases, two one police reports reported this one reported this. Both of them we are processing according to existing procedures and evidence. And the two LPs (Police Reports) are running," he said.

"What is reported is now a suspect and we are detained in this case by foreign nationals. Then it was reported by foreign nationals to several security guards and raised to become suspects. And from the investigators from the Badung Police, they have coordinated with lawyers from the suspect," continued Ariasandy.
