JAKARTA - Iwan, a man in the jersey uniform of Persib Bandung, was injured in the left temple due to being hit by a Persija supporter at Jatinegara Station, East Jakarta.

Luckily, Iwan's life managed to survive after running away from the Persija supporter crowd who met him in the train carriage area at Jatinegara Station and took cover behind the officers on guard.

Iwan, who suffered a wound on his face, was taken to the Jatinegara Station Health Post room to be given first aid.

East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly said that the victim did not officially make a police report regarding the viral incident.

"The victim did not want to report (to the police station)," said Kombes Nicolas when confirmed Tuesday, February 18, afternoon.

After being treated, Iwan did not make a police report. He chose to go home.

"The victim was assisted by the Polsuska to return to his house in Bekasi," he said.

Previously, a man in the blue Persib Bandung jersey uniform became the target of a mob at Jatinegara Station, East Jakarta on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at around 14:10 WIB.

The man who was later identified with special needs previously took the Commuter Line train on the day of the rivalry between Persija Jakarta and Persib Bandung at the Candrabaga Stadium, Bekasi, West Java.

Then unfortunately, on the train he ran into a group of Persija supporters who also climbed into the same train carriage.

Because he saw a man in the Persib Jersey uniform, the group of supporters from Jakarta then kicked the man, until he ran over the station platform.

Luckily, the victim was secured by PKD officers from Jatinegara Station from the pursuit of opposing supporters.
