Village Apparatus Graduates PPPK In Rejang Lebong Asked To Resign

REJANG LEBONG - Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province, Yusran Fauzi asked village officials who passed the selection of Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) in the area to resign and choose one of the positions.

"Yesterday we said that in accordance with a letter from the Ministry of Home Affairs, they had to choose one of the positions, whether they wanted to become a village apparatus or a PPPK," he said when contacted in Rejang Lebong, Saturday.

He explained, in the first phase of the PPPK selection in Rejang Lebong Regency in 2024 there were 30 village officials, then two village heads, as well as 32 village heads and members of the Village Consultative Body (BPD).

So far, of the 64 BPD devices and members, he said, there were only two people who had resigned from the PPPK, one person was the village head and the other was the village secretary.

Meanwhile, for the other 62 people, Yusran admitted that he had not received a report on whether all of them had resigned from the positions of village officials, village heads, and BPD.

"If they resign from the position of village apparatus, the process is through the Rejang Lebong PMD Service, and if they resign from the PPPK, then the process is from the BKPSDM. For those who resign from the PPPK, the formation will automatically be filled in the PPPK phase II selection later," he explained.

Meanwhile, the PPPK phase I candidate who has passed the selection, he added, is currently still in the process of filing until later the determination from BKN, after that the process in the local government for a work agreement with the regent.

Previously, Rejang Lebong Regency in 2024 received a selection quota of 1,500 PPPK formations, consisting of 850 formations of technical personnel, 385 formations of teachers and 265 health formations.

In the first phase of the PPPK selection, 1,145 registrants were declared to have passed consisting of 671 formations of technical personnel, 156 formations of health workers and 318 formations of teachers. Meanwhile, the second phase of the PPPK selection will compete for 355 vacant formations.
