JAKARTA - A woman was killed in Russia's Belgorod border area when a Ukrainian drone crashed into her car.
Reported by Reuters on Wednesday, February 12, Vyache Governorslav Gladkov said the woman died at the scene.
Belgorod has often been attacked by Ukraine during the conflict that has been going on for nearly three years.
Ukrainian troops are also reportedly launching a drone strike in the city of Energyhodar near Russia-controlled nuclear power plant (PLTN) Zaporizhia in southern Ukraine.
Factory management said no safety breaches were recorded.
"Radiation at the location and in the normal observation area," said local governor Yevgeny Balitsky as reported by Reuters, Wednesday, February 12.
The drone hit the parking lot about 300 meters from one of the power generation reactors.
Reuters was unable to independently verify the report. There has been no immediate comment from Ukraine.
