North Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office Sow Team Arrests 1 DPO Convicted Fidusia

The North Sulawesi High Prosecutor's Intelligence Sow Team (Kejati) arrested a convict who was on the People's Wanted List (DPO) related to a fiduciary case, FEW alias Faradila, in Manado.

Head of the Legal Information Section of the North Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office, Janius Lega Bolitobi, said the team gathered ahead of the arrest at the North Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office on Tuesday at around 13:30 WITA.

"At around 13:40 WITA, the team moved to the UPTD PPA Office of North Sulawesi Province, then secured the convict and was immediately taken to the Manado District Attorney's Office for security and executed to the Women's and Children's Prison in Tomohon," explained Januaryusdi Manado, Antara, Wednesday, January 12.

The arrest of fugitive FEW carried out the execution of the Manado District Court decision Number: 300 / Pid.sus / 2022 / PN.Mnd dated December 6, 2022, which stated that the convict FEW was legally and convincingly proven to have violated Article 36 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 42 of 1999 concerning Fiduciary Guarantee.

With a prison sentence of 1 year and a fine of Rp. 10,000,000.00 (ten million rupiah) provided that if the fine is not paid, it will be replaced with imprisonment for 1 month.

The convict after the decision was not executed because he had fled and was then included in the DPO by the Manado District Attorney until he was finally caught (11/2) and again examined (12/2).
