Cap Go Meh 2025 Celebration, Several Roads In Bogor Closed

BOGOR - The Bogor City Transportation Service (Dishub) will implement traffic engineering in the context of celebrating Cap Go Meh (CGM) on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. Road closures will begin at 14.00 WIB, covering the preparation lines and carnival lanes.

Head of the Bogor City Transportation Service, Marse Hendra Saputra, said that traffic engineering had been implemented situationally since 12.00 WIB. "As long as Jalan Suryakencana to Simpang Batutulis (Simpang Ahoy) will be closed during the event," he said, Tuesday, February 11.

To avoid congestion, the Transportation Agency has prepared alternative routes for motorists, such as Jalan Roda, Jalan Padasuka, Jalan Warung Bandrek, Jalan Ranggagading, Jalan Lawang Saketeng, Jalan Pedati, and Jalan Kampung Cincau.

In addition, officers will also ensure that no vehicles park on the side of the road along the activity route.

"We will place personnel at every isolation point together with the Traffic Unit to ensure smooth traffic," said Marse.

In the event, around 150 Dishub personnel will be deployed to curb traffic.
