The DKI Provincial Government Is Still Finalizing The QR Code System For The Purchase Of 3 Kg Gas For Jakarta Residents

JAKARTA - Acting Assistant for the Economy and Finance of the DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary Suharini Eliawati said that her party was still finalizing the payment system using a QR code in the purchase of 3 kilograms (kg) LPG gas in Jakarta.

This system is only intended for Jakarta residents who buy subsidized gas in agents or bases. Suharini said that this QR code system would be implemented so that the provision of 3 kg gas in Jakarta to residents was right on target.

"This is still under discussion. Our study is holistic, we are trying about the easiest in the community and our supervision is even better, of course, that is what we will use. One of them is currently roughly using QRIS, sales are certainly easier to trace," said Suharini at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Tuesday, February 11.

In Jakarta, the QR code system has been applied to the Jakpreneur application with a special code owned by each assisted MSME actor. Currently, the DKI Provincial Government is reviewing the modification of the payment system in the Jakpreneur application to be applied to the purchase of 3 kg gas.

"After this, if Jakprenuer is already running, we just want it to be or not, yes, modified from Jakpreneur's QRIS. But, it's not that easy, it takes socialization, and it needs (the system) which is the easiest to use," explained Suharini.

Meanwhile, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency, Hari Nugroho, admitted that so far there has been no mechanism for monitoring the sale and purchase of LPG gas intended for Jakarta residents. Meanwhile, many residents from buffer areas buy gas in the Jakarta area.

This is interesting for residents of buffer areas to buy 3 kg gas in Jakarta because the highest retail price (HET) is lower than other areas in Jabodetabek.

Currently, HET gas 3 kg in Jakarta is still IDR 16,000 based on the determination of the 2015 governor's regulation. Meanwhile, several buffer areas have set HET at IDR 19,000. So far, the base has sold gas to all buyers.

"Once (QR code) is eaten, it means that it turns out that there are people whose ID cards (buyers) are not DKI. So far at the base if there are ID cards, sell them, sell them, sell them, want ID cards from anywhere," explained Hari.

"Later we will make a mechanism so that later there will be no leaks outside. So that the DKI allocation, yes, DKI people will accept it," he added.
