SBY Messages To Prabowo No Twin Sun, PDIP: Some Have Become Sunken Moons Too

JAKARTA - Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP Deddy Yevry Sitorus responded positively to the message from the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) to President Prabowo Subianto so that there should be no twin sun or leadership dualism in the Republic of Indonesia.

Deddy mentioned that there are parties who still imagine Prabowo's leadership. He likened the party to the moon but still wanted to be the sun.

"That's a good message. Actually it's not the twin sun, this is a month that has become the moon, I still want the sun too. Always when it comes to the moon it creates problems," said Deddy Yevry at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, February 11.

However, Deddy was reluctant to say who the month was. When asked about the name of former President Jokowi Widodo, the PDIP legislator did not agree.

"That's your knot," said Deddy.

Furthermore, Deddy responded to Prabowo's statement about someone who wanted to separate himself from Jokowi. According to him, there should indeed be a separation between the president and the former president.

"Yes, it's different for people to separate, the period is combined, what will people say later. Indeed, we have to separate, one former president, one president," he said.

"A good relationship does not have to be carried out and Pak Prabowo's decision must also be in accordance with Pak Jokowi's. Every leader has his own challenge," continued Deddy.

Deddy considers that currently there is only one head of state in Indonesia, namely President Prabowo Subianto. If there are other parties who still feel like leaders, according to him, then they will no longer have the same authority.

"Yes, I don't know, but I still think that the sun is just Pak Prabowo. If others still feel the sun or the moon is no longer full, that's all," concluded Deddy.

Previously, the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) stated that his relationship with Prabowo was very good from the first until today.

"Four years in the class with him, I am very close and we are close friends but also compete in the sense of competing in a healthy manner because both as friends continue to maintain closeness but also compete in the sense that Pak Prabowo wants to be equally successful in my red beret on the green beret," said SBY quoted from the Liputan6 SCTV Youtube channel, Monday, February 10.

SBY emphasized that in principle, he respects Prabowo's position as president and vice versa. But in essence, SBY emphasized that there is no dualism of leadership in Indonesia.

"I respect him, and he respects me, and my philosophy, in Indonesia there is only one sun, Pak Prabowo there should be no twin sun," said SBY.
