TANGERANG - The Banten High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) searched the Environmental Service (DLH) office on Jalan Raya Serpong, Setu, South Tangerang (Tangsel), Monday, February 10, Monday, February 10.

Head of Legal Information at the Banten High Prosecutor's Office, Rangga Adekresna, in a statement released, explained that the search was related to allegations of corruption in the work of transportation and waste management services in South Tangerang.

During the search, the Banten Attorney General's Office brought five boxes containing documents related to the contract value of Rp75.94 billion at the service.

"We confiscated several documents related to the investigation," said Rangga, Tuesday, February 11.

Rangga also revealed that the contract value of Rp75.94 billion was divided into two activities, of which Rp50.72 billion was allocated for waste transportation services, and Rp25.21 billion was used for waste management services.

"So this search and confiscation was carried out in two locations, namely, the South Tangerang City Environmental Service Office and PT EPP in South Tangerang," he said.

Currently, the Banten Attorney General's Office has not announced the parties of the alleged corruption who have been named as suspects.

"Investigations are still collecting additional evidence," he concluded.
