JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health has finalized preparations for the Free Health Check (CKG) program. This program is planned to start running at 10,200 health centers throughout Indonesia starting February 10, 2025.

"So the readiness is very ready, actually, we are relatively ready. We have 10,200 puskesmas, then later it will also gradually be carried out in other primary health facilities, meaning private clinics that have collaborated with BPJS Kesehatan but that will be gradual in the future," said Head of the Communication and Public Service Bureau of the Ministry of Health Aji Muhawarman as reported by ANTARA, February 9.

However, he said, for the Free Health Check which starts officially on Thursday, February 10 tomorrow, it will be carried out first at various health centers in Indonesia. The target of the program itself for community groups is included in the category of infants, toddlers, then adults and the elderly.

The government will also provide free health checks to school-age children and teenagers who are planned to be held in schools in July 2025.

He said that for the beginning of the program, not only people who had their birthdays on February 10 could register to do the free health check.

"So if yesterday's people feel that their birthday has passed, they can't, they can't. So in January, February, March, we can give them until April," he said.

To register for Free Health Checks, you can do it through the One Sehat application to avoid queues at the puskesmas or register via WhatsApp at 081110500567. People who do not have a cellphone can do this by bringing their ID card to the puskesmas.
