JAKARTA - Member of Commission III of the DPR Abdullah highlighted the manipulation of land certificate data on the sea fence in Paljaya Village, Bekasi Regency, West Java.

He asked law enforcement officials to take firm action against the perpetrators and ensnare them with criminal threats.

"We urge the government to move quickly and resolve allegations of land data manipulation carried out by irresponsible persons," Abdullah said, Wednesday, February 5.

According to him, the steps taken by the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid in dismantling the manipulation of land data in the Bekasi Sea Pagar are correct. It was revealed that there was data manipulation of 581 hectares of land in Bekasi. This can be seen from the Land Identification Number (NIB) which is recorded to be in the land area.

However, currently the land map plan has been moved to the Bekasi marine waters. There are two corporations and several individuals suspected of being the owners of hundreds of certificates of Building Use Rights Certificates (SHGB) and Ownership Certificates (SHM) in the Bekasi sea fence area.

The two companies suspected of controlling certificates in an area of 581 hectares are PT Cikarang Listristindo and PT Mega Agung Nusantara. Each of the companies controls a certificate of 90,159 hectares and 419,635 hectares.

In addition to the two companies, there are 11 people suspected of having Ownership Certificates (SHM) in the waters of Kampung Paljaya with an area of around 72.571 hectares.

The 72.571 hectare SHM is thought to have originated from data manipulation. This is because the 72.571 hectare SHM actually comes from 11 hectares of land assets from 89 plots of land spread over the land area of Segara Jaya Village.

The land parcel certificate belongs to 84 people who are the result of the Complete Systematic Land Registration program (PTSL) in 2021.

However, a year later, the certificate data moved from land to the sea fence area. The transfer of the land map was carried out in July 2022.

Abdullah said that the act of manipulating land data was clearly very detrimental to the land owner.

According to him, irresponsible parties want to control land in the sea by manipulating defense data on land that is already owned by the local community.

"This is very detrimental to the community. Manipulation of land data is clearly a crime that should not be tolerated," Abdullah explained.

Therefore, the PKB legislator from the Central Java VI electoral district asked law enforcement officials to step in to thoroughly investigate the alleged manipulation of land data that is detrimental to the community. He considered that the authorities could cooperate with the Ministry of ATR/BPN in investigating the case.

He emphasized that the case of land data manipulation is not enough just to revoke the land certificate and remove the officials involved, but must also be investigated legally.

Those who are proven to have manipulated land data and become land mafias must be prosecuted criminally. There should be no land mafia in this country," Abdullah concluded.
