JAKARTA - Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono said the budget for the demolition of the sea fence in the waters of Tangerang, Banten, was sourced from a joint venture.
"Yes, if we talk about the budget (of the Tangerang sea fence), it's a joint venture," Trenggono said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, January 23.
Trenggono did not mention the amount of funds used to dismantle the sea fence that did not have an Approval for the Adjustment of Sea Space Utilization Activities (PKKPRL) from the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP).
He admitted that his party together with cross-sector so that fishermen would complete the demolition of the sea fence, even though they used the joint budget.

"Because the pressure from all of my friends to be dismantled immediately, yes, it has been carried out in all kinds of ways (dismantled). So, it looks like it has not been counted (the budget), just joint venture," said Trenggono.
It is known that the demolition of the sea fence in Tangerang has been going on since Wednesday (22/1). The KKP synergizes with Indonesian Navy personnel, Bakamla, Polairud, KPLP, and the fishing community carry out the demolition.
