Upset About Brother-in-law Often Consumption Of Drugs Becomes A Motive For Murder In Gambir

The police revealed the motive behind the murder case of a man with the initials RKY (42) that occurred in Duri Pulo, Gambir, Central Jakarta. The suspect is said to have been annoyed with the victim or sister-in-law for often taking drugs.

"The perpetrator often reprimands the victim who often uses drugs," said Head of Sub-Directorate for Resmob of the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Ressa Fiardy Marasabessy, Thursday, January 23.

Not only that, the suspect's frustration was also caused by the victim being irresponsible with his family. The wife of the victim is the younger brother of the suspect.

"Unresponsible to his family or the younger brother of the perpetrator who is the wife of the victim," said Ressa.

Previously, the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi conveyed the action, which led to the death of RKY (42). Based on witness testimony, it started with an argument between the suspect and the victim on Tuesday, January 21, at around 19.30 WIB.

"When the witness wanted to meet with the authorities to deliver food, the witness saw the victim fighting with his brother-in-law named brother U," said Ade.

In that fight, the suspect took out a knife which was then stabbed at the victim. Next, suspect U immediately fled.

The witness who saw the incident immediately contacted the victim's wife and child and helped the victim. However, RKY's life could not be helped until he died.

"The witness also heard the victim talking if the victim was stabbed by U's brother," said Ade.
