Head of the Capital Archipelago Authority (OIKN) Basuki Hadimuljono said a number of groundbreaking agendas or ground-breaking of the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) in East Kalimantan are just waiting for President Prabowo Subianto's schedule.

Basuki said that his party had sent a letter to the President for a number of the groundbreaking agendas for the IKN.

"I have sent a letter for ground breaking. So hopefully he can schedule the time," said Basuki at the Jakarta Presidential Palace Complex, Tuesday.

Basuki said that until now his party is still waiting for the President's schedule to be able to carry out the groundbreaking agenda. He admitted that he was ready to carry out these activities at any time when the President had time.

"But we are ready. So any time he will go there for inauguration, it shouldn't just be ground breaking, inauguration. But later it might be reported by Mr. AHY (Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono)," he said.

Basuki said there were at least six agendas for laying the first stone, including hotels, offices, and restaurants. The investment is around Rp. 6.5 trillion.

Previously, in December last year, Basuki said that his party had proposed a number of agendas for laying the first stone that President Prabowo would do at IKN in the near future.

The agenda for laying the first stone will be the first or first time President Prabowo has done it, since he was officially inaugurated as the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia on October 20.

Basuki explained that his party proposed to the Palace so that the President could lay the first stone at IKN at the end of December or early January.

Meanwhile, the construction of a number of infrastructures in IKN, said Basuki, is almost complete, such as the coordinating ministry office, Bank Indonesia office and the Ministry of PUPR.

The progress of development at the Central Core Area Office of the IKN Government has also begun to include furniture.
