US President Donald Trump: I Was Saved By God To Make America Great Again

JAKARTA - President Donald Trump said in his first speech after being sworn in as the 47th president of the United States, he was saved by God to make the country great again.

Donald John Trump, also known as Donald Trump, was officially inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States (US), replacing incumbent Joe Biden at the Capitol Building Rotunda, Washington DC, United States, Monday, January 20 local time.

Trump later said his government would prioritize the United States, restore sovereignty and restore security.

"The main priority is to create a country that is proud, prosperous and free. America will soon become greater, stronger and more extraordinary than ever before," said President Trump, quoted from the YouTube Channel Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies and CNBC January 21.

To say the challenges ahead that many will face, Trump then criticized the previous government. He said radical and corrupt institutions had seized the power and wealth of US citizens.

While the pillars of society were destroyed, continued Trump, the US has a government that cannot manage a simple domestic crisis, but stumbled upon a series of events abroad.

He said the government failed to protect US citizens, but provided shelter and protection for dangerous criminals.

Trump also criticized unlimited funding for others to defend his border, but declined to defend the United States border.

The state's inability to provide basic services during an emergency response was also highlighted, referring to the storms that occurred in a number of states to fires in Los Angeles.

Trump also highlighted the malfunction of the public health system in Uncle Sam's country, while Washington spent more money on the health system than any country.

The Republican politician also criticized the US education system which he considered teaching children to be ashamed of themselves.

"Everything will change from today and will change very quickly. From now on, America's setback is over," Trump stressed.

Trump later said the US freedom and glory could not be denied, saying it would soon restore the integrity, competence and loyalty of the American government.

Trump said restoring Republican glory was not easy, many tried to stop it, including trying to take his life, alluding to a shooting in Pennsylvania when his ear was hit by a shot.

"I was saved by God to make America great again," he exclaimed.

Saying January 20, 2025 is a 'Freedom Day', President Trump hopes that all US citizens from various backgrounds unite behind the national agenda.

On the occasion, Trump said he would sign a series of historic executive orders.

First, declaring a national state of emergency on the southern border, stopping all who entered illegally and starting the process of returning millions of migrants to their homes. Trump stressed he would reimpose the 'Stay in Mexico' policy, saying he would send troops to the southern border.

He will also designate a cartel as a foreign terrorist organization, enacting the Foreign Enemy Act in 1798 to order the full use of force against federal law enforcement and states, to eliminate the presence of foreign gangs and criminal networks.

Then, Trump said he would order his cabinet to beat inflation, quickly lowering costs and prices. He will also announce a state of national energy emergency.

Trump said the US will again become a manufacturing country with the largest amount of oil and gas compared to any country, where it will lower prices domestically, and will be exported worldwide.

Saying the US would return to being a rich country, he said he would end the Green New Deal, lift the mandate of electric vehicles and save the US auto industry.

Trump also said he would start a trade system reshuffle to protect US workers and families. He will charge tariffs and tax foreign countries to enrich US citizens.

In turn, Trump said he would sign an executive order to immediately stop government restrictions and restore free speech.

"The power of a very large country will never again be used as a weapon to persecute political opponents. Something I know. We will not allow that to happen. That will never happen again. Under my leadership, we will restore justice that is just, equal, and impartial under constitutional law," Trump said.

"And we will return law and order to our cities. This week I will also end the government's policy of trying to manipulate race and gender socially into every aspect of public and private life. We will build people who do not view skin tone and based on achievement," he explained.

"Starting today, the official policy of the United States government is that there are only two sexes, men and women," Trump said.

Regarding the Panama Canal, Trump said the option to hand over the waterway to Panama should never have been made, saying Panama broke its promise. He also said US ships were charged a heavy cost and treated unfairly.

"We give it to Panama, we will take it back," Trump stressed.

Trump added that the United States is on the verge of the four greatest years of history.

"With your help, we will restore America's promise and we will rebuild our beloved and beloved country," he said.

According to him, the US will be respected and admired again. The US will become a free, sovereign and independent country.

"Nothing will stop us because we are Americans," he said.

"The future belongs to us. The golden age has just begun, God bless America," he said.
