Moments Of Anies And Ahok Chances And Laughs When Meeting At Book Launch

JAKARTA - Anies Baswedan and Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) met at the launch of the book 'That's why, Remember!' at FX Mall Sudirman, Central Jakarta, on Saturday, January 18. The meeting of the two former governors of DKI Jakarta was in the spotlight and shocked the audience.

Anies and Ahok were invited to provide testimonies regarding the books by Abigail Limuria and Cania Citta.

Anies shared his moments of meeting with Ahok via Instagram Stories on the @aniesbaswedan account. In the video recorded by one of his followers, Anies and Ahok can be seen meeting on stage.

Anies wore a dark blue short-sleeved shirt (navy), while Ahok wore a light blue shirt with long sleeves.

Once met, Anies and Ahok immediately hugged familiarly. The two of them seemed to talk warmly. Ahok got his mouth closer to Anies' ears and spoke something that made the two of them laugh out.

Anies seemed to pat Ahok's shoulder and hold his shoulder. The two of them are still talking to each other familiarly while walking off the stage. However, the contents of their conversation are not known for sure.

Several invitations who attended the event also recorded the moment of Anies and Ahok's meeting with their cellphone cameras.

In his testimony, Anies congratulated Abigail Limuria and Cania Citta on the launch of the book 'That's why, think!'. Anies admitted that he had read the book, even though it was not finished.

"The books are good, I've read them, but they haven't been completed yet," said Anies.
