Komnas HAM Reminds Settlement Of Past Human Rights Violations In The Prabowo Era

JAKARTA - The commitment to resolve past human rights violations (HAM) in the Prabowo Subianto government has not shown its defenses. Meanwhile, the settlement of past human rights cases in the 10 years of Joko Widodo's leadership has also not been completed.

The National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) reminded the government in the Prabowo era to continue efforts to resolve these cases.

"Of course we continue to make coordination efforts, communication so that it is followed up, because the victim has the right to get justice, truth and recovery," Komnas HAM Commissioner Anis Hidayah told reporters, Friday, January 17.

Anis said that Komnas HAM was still investigating the cases they were still investigating. Meanwhile, a number of cases that have been investigated by Komnas HAM have been submitted to the Attorney General's Office.

"Everything that has been investigated is there. If it's not finished, it's still here. But when it's finished, it's already with the Attorney General," said Anis.
