GKJ Takes Big Andil Wins Pramono-Rano Karno In The 2024 Jakarta Pilkada

JAKARTA - The Jakarta Collaboration Movement (GKJ) has succeeded in making a big contribution in delivering Pramono Anung-Rano Karno (Doel) as Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta for the period 2024-2029.

The chairman of the GKJ Presidium, Adjie Rimbawan, believes that the Pram-Doel pair is able to solve various problems in Jakarta, especially related to floods, congestion, and spatial planning.

"Mas Pram and Bang Doel have extensive experience in the government. I am sure both of them will be able to solve crucial problems in Jakarta," he said at a press conference in Tebet, South Jakarta, Thursday (12/12).

Adjie added that the Pram-Doel pair is expected to be able to bring innovations and updates to make Jakarta a better city.

"I am optimistic that Mas Pram and Bang Doel will advance Jakarta, improve the welfare of citizens, and pay special attention to the Betawi community as an important part of Jakarta's local wisdom," he explained.

On the same occasion, GKJ also expressed its highest appreciation to the election organizers, namely the KPU and Bawaslu of DKI Jakarta Province, for the implementation of a safe and conducive Pilkada.

"In general, the Jakarta Pilkada takes place safely and peacefully," said Adjie.

He also gave an award to the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Teguh Setyabudi, who had maintained bureaucratic neutrality during the Pilkada process.

"Our appreciation is also conveyed to the ranks of the National Police and the TNI who have maintained security during all stages of the Pilkada, starting from registration to vote calculations at the provincial level," he said.

Adjie did not forget to give appreciation to other candidate pairs, namely Ridwan Kamil-Suswono and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardhana, for the cool and peaceful spirit of democracy during the Jakarta Pilkada.

"We appreciate all those who have received the results of the Jakarta Pilkada with a big soul for the victory of Mas Pram and Bang Doel," he explained.

According to Adjie, GKJ has been committed from the start to struggle to lead the Pram-Doel pair to lead DKI Jakarta, which in the future will transform into a Special Region for Jakarta (DKJ).

"As a form of commitment, GKJ will cooperate with all elements of society to oversee Pram-Doel's leadership until the end of his term of office," he said.

At the end of the event, Adjie congratulated Pram-Doel for their victory in the Jakarta Pilkada in just one round.

"Congratulations to Mas Pram and Bang Doel. We will always support this mandate so that it can be carried out successfully," he concluded.
