Today, Mario Dandy Undergoes A Closed Session Of Alleged Obscenity Cases

The South Jakarta District Court is scheduled to hold the first trial of the alleged molestation case with the defendant Mario Dandy Satriyo today, Wednesday, December 11, 2024.

Mario Dandy is also known to be involved in the alleged molestation of AG's child, which is part of a series of cases of abuse against David Ozora.

"Yes, that's right. Today there is a trial of the sexual abuse case on behalf of the defendant Mario Dandy," said Public Relations of the South Jakarta District Court, Djuyamto, to reporters.

Djuyamto explained that the trial would take place behind closed doors. This was done because the case involved the aspect of decency. Only the panel of judges, defendants, public prosecutors, and legal advisors are allowed to attend the courtroom.

"The trial was held behind closed doors because it was related to decency," explained Djuyamto.

This case stems from a police report made by AG to Polda Metro Jaya. The report is registered with the number LP/B/2445/V/2023/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya.

Subsequently, the investigation was carried out by the Sub-Directorate of Renakta of the General Criminal Directorate of the Polda Metro Jaya. After the investigation process, Mario Dandy was finally named a suspect.

Mario Dandy is subject to articles in the Child Protection Law, namely Article 76D in conjunction with Article 81 of Law no. 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law no. 23 of 2002. In addition, he was also charged with Article 76E in conjunction with Article 82 of Law no. 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection.

The trial of this case has become one of the public's concerns, especially after cases of abuse and involvement of a number of parties that caused a major polemic before. Now, Mario Dandy will face legal proceedings for the alleged molestation under the strict supervision of the authorities.
