Called The Witness Receiving Rp1 Billion In Funds To Buy A PKB Ship, Lampung Deputy Governor Nunik Geleng-shook

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) prosecutor presented the Deputy Governor of Lampung Chusnunia Chalim as a witness in the corruption case trial with the former Central Lampung Regent Mustafa.

"The Deputy Governor of Lampung is here to provide testimony as a witness," said prosecutor Taufik Ibnugroho, at the Tanjungkarang District Court when he was about to start the trial for project "fee" and gratuities at the PUPR Office of Central Lampung Regency, as reported by Antara, Thursday, March 4.

Apart from the Deputy Governor of Lampung, the KPK prosecutor also presented five other witnesses. They are Erwin Mursali, Mustafa's former aide, Midi Iswanto, a member of the Lampung DPRD, and Khaidir Bujung, a former member of the Lampung DPRD.

"For the other two witnesses, Sri Widodo, the former Regent of North Lampung, and former member of the DPR RI, Musa Zainuddin, gave virtual testimonies," he said again.

During the trial, Chusnunia Chalim's nickname Nunik was seen often shaking his head when witnesses Midi Iswanto and Khaidir Bujung gave testimony as witnesses to the KPK prosecutor.

Nunik shook his head when the two witnesses told the KPK prosecutor about the Rp1 billion that was said to have been given to Nunik.

He shook his head as if what the two witnesses said was not true.

As a witness, Chusnunia Chalim alias Nunik, when presented by the KPK Prosecutor in this trial, denied all questions raised by the prosecutor in the project fee bribery and gratuity case at the PUPR Office of Central Lampung Regency with the defendant Mustafa.

At first the prosecutor questioned Nunik regarding his meeting with Mustafa about the PKB boat for his nomination as governor of Lampung.

"Did the witness ever meet Mustafa regarding the PKB boat. Then the witness told witnesses Midi Iswanto and Khaidir Bujung that Mustafa was no longer offered it," said KPK Prosecutor Taufik Ibnugroho at the Tanjungkarang District Court, Bandarlampung, Thursday.

Then the KPK prosecutor again questioned the Rp1 billion received from Midi Iswanto.

Nunik again denied the KPK prosecutor and said that he never received money.

"What is true, they say in the file like that. That is up to your statement," said the prosecutor again.

Taufik continued with the question of Rp150 million received by witness Nunik. Nunik confirmed that he had received the money, but the money was borrowed from Khaidir Bujung for the construction of the Central Lampung PKB DPC Office.

"The relationship at that time was good with Khaidir Bujung, I borrowed Rp150 for the construction costs of the Central Lampung DPC. I have paid Rp100 million, I have not paid the remaining Rp50 million because Khaidir Bujung had a connection with me during the nomination of DPRD members in Lampung," said the witness Nunik too.

Meanwhile, Chusnunia or Nunik is the chairman of the Lampung Province National Awakening Party (PKB).
