Starting July 17th, Only Booster Airplane Passengers Are Not Required To Show PCR Test Results

NTB - PT Angkasa Pura I Lombok International Airport in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province has implemented new travel rules that will take effect from Sunday, July 17, 2022.

Public Relations of PT Angkasa Pura I, Lombok International Airport, Arif Haryanto, said that these regulations include prospective passengers who have just received the first dose of vaccination; they must show a negative result of the RT-PCR test whose sample was taken within 3 x 24 hours before departure.

Furthermore, prospective airplane passengers who have received a full dose of COVID-19 vaccination still have to show a negative result of an antigen test whose sample is taken 1X24 hours before departure.

However, prospective passengers who have received booster doses of vaccination are not required to show negative results from the RT-PCR test or antigen test to detect COVID-19 transmission.

"Those who have comorbidities are also required to attach a doctor's certificate from a government hospital stating that the person concerned has not and/or cannot take the COVID-19 vaccination," said Arif in Praya, Central Lombok, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, July 12. .

He added, it is enough for domestic travelers aged 6 to 17 years to show a second dose of vaccination card/certificate without showing a negative result of the RT-PCR test or antigen test.

Meanwhile, domestic travelers under the age of six, according to him, are exempt from vaccination provisions and do not need to show negative results from the RT-PCR test or antigen test.

"However, it is mandatory to travel with a companion who has complied with the provisions of the COVID-19 vaccination and examination and implements strict health protocols," he added.

Arif said that the rules to be implemented were in accordance with the new circular letter from the Ministry of Transportation regarding travel instructions for domestic people during the COVID-19 pandemic, which was applied to domestic travelers who use air transportation to and from regions in Indonesia.

The travel instructions are contained in the Circular of the Task Force for Handling COVID-19 Numbers 21 and 22 of 2022 regarding the provisions for travel for domestic and foreign people during the COVID-19 pandemic.
