BANDUNG - Basarnas Bandung said three tourists were declared dead while one was missing after being swept away by waves while swimming at Madasari Beach, Pangandaran Regency, West Java, Thursday, July 7 morning.

The head of the Bandung Basarnas, Jumaril, said a joint team had been dispatched to search for the whereabouts of tourists who were still reported missing in the Pangandaran waters.

"There was an accident that one tourist was swept away by the current at the Legok Jawa TPI, Madasari Beach, Cimerak District, Pangandaran Regency at 04.00 WIB this morning," he said in a press release received Thursday, July 7.
