From Bogor, Australian PM Anthony Albanese Flies To Makassar To Meet Governor Andi

JAKARTA - South Sulawesi Governor Andi Sudirman Sulaiman welcomes Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese at the South Sulawesi Governor's Office in Makassar, Tuesday 7 June.

The Australian PM entourage after arriving went straight to the second floor of the South Sulawesi Governor's Office. In the office, they held a closed meeting in the Governor's office.

Head of the South Sulawesi Communications and Information Office, Amson Padolo, said that Albanese, according to the plan, will next visit a flour mill at the port, namely Eastern Pearl Flour Mills. The company is an affiliate of CBH Group Australia.

The South Sulawesi Provincial Government itself will offer a number of collaborations with the Australian government, among others, in the fields of trade and animal husbandry.

Before visiting the Governor's Office, Anthony Albanese visited Hasanuddin University (Unhas).

The day before, Anthony Albanese visited the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java, and was greeted by President Joko Widodo, Monday (6/6).

This is his first visit to Indonesia after Anthony was sworn in as Prime Minister of Australia in May 2022.
