Ganjar Pranowo Asks All Regions In Central Java To Work Together On The Number Of Child Vaccinations

SEMARANG - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo thanked schools that had started vaccinating children aged 6-11 years. Ganjar hopes that initiatives like this will also happen in other regencies and cities.

This was conveyed by Ganjar, after reviewing the vaccination of children at Petra Elementary School, Jalan Taman Majapahit, Pedurungan Lor, Monday, January 3. There, Ganjar greeted a number of students who were lining up for screening before being vaccinated.

"What do you want to be when you grow up? The police, like his father," said Ganjar to a Petra Elementary School student named Luis.

At first the boy looked scared and continued to watch the vaccinator who was about to inject him. Ganjar who realized it immediately distracted Luis with various questions.

"Doesn't it hurt to have an injection? You've been injected, you don't feel great, don't you think," said Ganjar teasing Luis, who looked confused because he felt he had not been injected.

At Petra Elementary School, Ganjar had a chance to meet a clown who was scared because of the corona virus. The clown then asked Ganjar to help inject the vaccine into the roaming corona virus.

The scene broke laughter. Not only the students but also the parents who attended to accompany. In their hope, Ganjar advised them to always be disciplined in health protocols.

"We are happy today if I'm not mistaken the first day they entered. So if I see the enthusiasm of the children to be vaccinated, it is fun,” said Ganjar.

For this reason, Ganjar hopes that all regencies and cities will also take the initiative to accelerate child vaccination. Moreover, said Ganjar, children are much easier to coordinate for vaccines.

"So for other districts, let's hurry. It's a bit of a race for the kids, because it's easy for children to coordinate, they come to school, they go in like this and they check that they're injected properly,” said Ganjar.
