Police Seize 29 Students In Jambi Who Prepared For Brawl, Sharp Weapons, Double Stick And Wood Are Confiscated
JAMBI - The Kota Baru Sector Police (Polsek), Jambi, arrested 29 students consisting of 28 male students and one female student who wanted to carry out a brawl with sharp weapons, double sticks, and wood.
Kota Baru Police Chief Commissioner Afrito Marbaro said the 29 students were arrested because they were known to be planning to engage in a brawl with sharp weapons in the form of sickles, double sticks, and long sticks.
The 29 students were secured in the Mayang Mangurai area when they were about to carry out a brawl.
"So they were gathering near the Jamtos Mall to attack another unknown school, but this group of students was dispersed by the police and they fled towards Mayang and were arrested by Kota Baru Police personnel beside Abdul Manap Mayang Hospital," said Police Commissioner Afrito Marbaro, as quoted by Antara, Monday, November 1.
Police Commissioner Afrito Marbaro said the 29 students who were arrested during the brawl were from various SMK N 3 and the rest were SMK 9 Lurah and SMA N 4 in Jambi City.

After being secured, the police carried out guidance and data collection on the 29 students who were secured and then handed over to the parents of each student.
