Rasamala admitted that he was surprised that the KPK actually held a meeting at a five-star hotel even though the institution's performance had declined. In addition, he also highlighted that this meeting was held in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic where the community's economy was difficult.
"In the midst of the difficult economic situation of people's lives & declining GPA, he said @KPK_RI had a meeting at Htl 5th star Yogya. "Then how can the public believe in the story of national insight, Pancasila, the 45 Constitution, integrity, efficiency that was said by the leader of @KPK_RI @Nurul_Ghufron?" he added.
With this condition, he then asked the Ministry of Finance to evaluate the activities of the meeting. Even if it is necessary, a warning can also be given to the Chairman of the KPK, Firli Bahuri et al, who are considered to have wasted state money.
"It is better if the President through @KemenkeuRI evaluates, reprimands and takes action against @KPK_RI," he said.

The KPK has actually responded to this. According to the Secretary General of the KPK, Cahya H Harefa, the meeting in Yogyakarta had been scheduled for a long time but was hampered by the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only that, careful planning including budget calculations have also been carried out.
"This intensive meeting which was held in Yogyakarta had been scheduled in advance, both from the aspect of budget planning and implementation design, but it had to be postponed due to the pandemic conditions and can only be held at this time," said Cahya to reporters, Wednesday, October 27.
He also emphasized that this work meeting needs to be carried out as part of efforts to harmonize regulations and improve organizational structures, in order to support the duties and functions of the anti-corruption commission in accordance with KPK Law Number 19 of 2019.
