JAKARTA - Former Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) employee Rasamala Aritonang criticized the meeting activities carried out by KPK leaders and officials at the Sheraton Mustika Hotel Yogyakarta. According to him, these activities are not only unreasonable but attack morality.

Rasamala admitted that he was surprised that the KPK actually held a meeting at a five-star hotel even though the institution's performance had declined. In addition, he also highlighted that this meeting was held in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic where the community's economy was difficult.

With this condition, he then asked the Ministry of Finance to evaluate the activities of the meeting. Even if it is necessary, a warning can also be given to the Chairman of the KPK, Firli Bahuri et al, who are considered to have wasted state money.
