1.8 Million DKI Residents Who Have Not Vaccinated Can Be Injected At Night
JAKARTA - Head of the DKI Jakarta Health Office, Widyastuti, admitted that currently there are still 1.8 million residents of the capital city over the age of 12 who have not vaccinated against COVID-19.
Therefore, the DKI Provincial Government will intensify vaccination services at night. This is done while waiting for the matching of citizen data with the Department of Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Service and the DKI Department of Communication, Informatics and Statistics (Kominfotik) Service.
"We are currently trying to find (people who have not been vaccinated). In addition to validation, there are also various strategies, including friends in the sub-district and village, increasing services at strategic hours, namely services at night," Widyastuti told reporters, Wednesday, October 27.
Widyastuti said, after being investigated, it turned out that there were some residents who did not have time to undergo vaccination from morning to evening. Therefore, night vaccination is an option.
"It turns out that there is indeed a segmentation. There are residents who are loose in the afternoon until the evening. So, we prepare (night vaccination service)," said Widyastuti.

Previously, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria asked them to immediately follow the immunity program from the government. Because, he said, now there are many vaccine options in Jakarta.
"Nowadays, there are many vaccine options, from Sinovac to Pfizer. So, there is no longer any reason to wait or look for vaccine types. We ask everyone to participate in implementing the vaccine at the nearest health center vaccine center," said Riza at the DKI Regional Representative Council (DPRD) Building, Central Jakarta, Thursday, October 14.
While waiting for the rest of the people of Jakarta to take vaccinations, Riza admitted that the DKI Provincial Government is still conducting a sweeping data collection of residents who still live in Jakarta with the data held by the Dukcapil Service.
Because, he continued, some of the data on residents who were recorded as having DKI Jakarta ID cards turned out to have moved to other areas. They have not changed their population data.
"Indeed, from the existing data, many things are caused by Jakarta ID cards but living in the area. Disdukcapil conducts data collection, the Task Force as well, including neighborhood units (RT-RW), that all people are vaccinated," he said.
