Former Officials Of PT Brantas Abipraya Abstained From Investigation Of The Corruption Case Of The Great Mosque Of Sriwijaya Palembang
PALEMBANG - Former Director of Finance and Human Resources of PT Brantas Abipraya SY, denied being summoned by investigators from the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office. Originally, SY would be examined as a witness in the alleged corruption case of grant funds for the construction of the Sriwijaya Palembang Grand Mosque.
Together with SY, the Deputy Chairperson of the Sriwijaya Mosque Waqf Foundation, MA, was also absent from the investigation. MA will also be examined in the same case.
"The two witnesses are SY (former Director of Finance and HR of PT Brantas Abipraya) and MA (Vice-Chair of the Sriwijaya Mosque Waqf Foundation)", said Head of the Legal Information Section of the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office, Khaidirman in Palembang, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, October 27.
Thus, the South Sumatra Attorney General's Office will recall the two of them. It is hoped that both will fulfill the next call.
This is because their testimony is to complete the files on six suspects in the alleged corruption case of the grant funds for the construction of the Sriwijaya Palembang Grand Mosque, consisting of Akhmad Najib, Muddai Madang, Laoma L Tobing, Loka Sangganegara, Agustinus Toni, and Alex Noerdin.
"They didn't come without information", he said.

While the other six witnesses have undergone examination according to their respective agendas, namely Ardani (former Head of the Legal Bureau of the South Sumatra Provincial Government), Ekowati (former chairman of the South Sumatra Bappeda), and Muchendi Mahzareki (vice-chairman of the South Sumatra Regional House of Representatives) on Monday, 25 October is about four hours on the sixth floor of the Prosecutor's Office.
Then Supri Anthony (BPKAD South Sumatra Budget Division Staff), Ardiyanto (Sriwijaya Mosque Development Planning Team), and Rian Fahlevi (honorary at BPKAD South Sumatra) took part in the examination on Tuesday, October 26 at the same time and place.
In point of questioning by investigators, the witnesses were asked to explain several things regarding the mechanism for granting money worth IDR 130 billion and a land grant of 9 hectares from the South Sumatra Provincial Government for the construction of the Sriwijaya Grand Mosque.
In the Sriwijaya Grand Mosque case, a total of 12 people were tried in addition to the six suspects above. Previously there were six who were in the process of the trial at the Palembang District Court.
They are Eddy Hermanto (Chairman of the Sriwijaya Mosque construction committee), Syariffudin (Head of the Mosque Auction Division), Yudi Arminto (Project Manager of PT Yodya Karya as a contractor), Dwi Kridayani (Operational Cooperation of PT Brantas Abipraya-PT Yodya Karya).
Then Mukti Sulaiman (former Regional Secretary), Ahmad Nasuhi (former Acting Karo Kesra Secretariat of the South Sumatra Provincial Government), and Laoma L Tobing (former head of the South Sumatra BPKAD).
