Alfamart, Retailer Owned By Conglomerate Djoko Susanto This Disburses IDR 155.20 Billion To Add Share Ownership In Alfamidi
JAKARTA - Franchise retailer PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT) or Alfamart has increased its share ownership in its subsidiary, the Alfamidi manager, PT Midi Utama Indonesia Tbk (MIDI).
Director and Corporate Secretary of Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tomin Widian said the company increased its share ownership in MIDI by 77.99 million shares.
"The company's ownership in MIDI is 89.43 percent," Tomin wrote in information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website, quoted Tuesday, October 26.
Meanwhile, the purchase of MIDI shares by AMRT was carried out on October 22, 2021, with a purchase price of IDR 1.990. Thus, AMRT spent IDR 155.20 billion in the transaction.

After the share purchase transaction, AMRT now holds MIDI's share ownership of 89.43 percent or 2.57 million shares from the previous 86.72 percent or 2.49 million shares.
Tomin explained that the addition of share ownership was carried out by AMRT for investment with direct ownership status. This transaction is explained as not to be included in the provisions of OJK Regulation No.17/POJK.04/2020 concerning Material Transactions and Changes in Business Activities and Financial Services Authority (OJK) Regulation No.42/POJK.04/2020 concerning Affiliated Transactions and Conflict of Interest Transactions.
