Sad News, Former State Secretary Of SBY Era, Sudi Silalahi, Passes Away
JAKARTA - Minister of State Secretary of the Republic of Indonesia under President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Sudi Silalahi is reported to have died at the RSPAD, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, October 26.
The information was conveyed by the former Cabinet Secretary in the United Indonesia Cabinet II (2010-2014), Dipo Alam through his Twitter account.
"*Sad news* Innalillahi Wainna illaihi roji'un, our family and friends offer our deepest condolences for the passing of Mr. * Lt. Gen. TNI (Ret.) Sudi Silalahi at 23.50 at the RSPAD. Dipo Alam," wrote the account @dipoalam49.
He prayed that God would forgive his mistakes and testified that Sudi was a good person.
"May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala forgive all mistakes. I testify that Mr. Sudi is a good, friendly, caring and humble person. May Allah SWT will give the best place by His side for Mr. Sudi. Amen," he said.
Lieutenant General TNI (Ret.) Sudi Silalahi was born July 13, 1949. He was Minister of State Secretary of the Republic of Indonesia from October 22, 2009 to October 20, 2014, in the era of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. Previously he served as Cabinet Secretary.

Sudi graduated from the Akabri in 1972 and ended his military career with the rank of Lieutenant General. He was Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's secretary when Yudhoyono was serving as Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs under Megawati Soekarnoputri's government.
